I recently watched Pleasentville for the second time. The first was in the theater. The second watching affected me more. It’s such a sweet and gentle offering which celebrates freedom from the norm. It’s a movie that touches on many subjects such as racism, sexual awareness, innocence, art, change, and social evolution.

After watching this I felt different. As if I became just a little more aware about my own self imposed sheltering. I’m ready to get out of my cocoon.
